In the world of Inopia mages stand on the top of the food chain, their power is absolute so every child dreams of become one. At birth every child possesses slight magic abilities of no particular element, generally limited to levitation of small things like rocks or the occasional scoop of mashed potato. Upon reaching the age of thirteen a child will partake in a coming of age ceremony. The ceremony involves a magical implement referred to as an "inspector". The inspector reads a persons elemental affinity from one of eight, fire, ice, water, earth, electricity, plants, life or death. The inspector also activates ones mana, which in turn tells their class. Mages are split into five categories: Festers, Benders, Channelers, Summoners and Mancers. When using magic, a mages pupils will change shaped based on their class. I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" These all 13 state have it's very own holy crystal that bless the state individually. But, the crystal contains powerful amount of mana that makes every single person in Melloyern going for it. A group of magician called Denials were up to collect all of the crystal to keep them safe from wrong hands. There is a lot of hindrance in their path such as the Kingdom of Melloyern itself is turning against these guys. Still there are more. Can they survive? it's up to them to decide.
