Shinya is a motorcycle mechanic working in Pearl City. Kyoko is a successful model in Waikiki. They have been dating for years and everything's going great until reports of missing people begin flooding the streets, letters begin arriving at their house, and Shinya begins having trouble telling the difference between dreams and reality when a tall bandaged figure begins to appear to him.
This is a story of death, youkai, spirits, gods, and demons, set in the city of Honolulu, where fantasy blends with reality and humans and monsters live side by side, even when we don't notice them most of the time.
