Us as humans, we are all born different. Different skin colors, different body parts, different mindsets. But some people can't seem to accept the fact that someone can and will be nothing like them. Most of us are quick to judge someone just by their appearance and not by their personality. We take other peoples flaws and make fun. We gossip, name call, and even threaten. All because someone is different than we are. You may think that words don't actually hurt, and that you're just joking around. Oh nothing is going to happen right? Wrong. Words hurt just as much as a slap in the face. And if you're still not so sure, how about I tell it from 13 year old Johnna's point of view. She is known as one of those people you call "freak" or "weirdo" in the hallway at school. As you read her story, open your eyes , your mind, and your beating heart and imagine stepping into Johnna's shoes for a change.
