Sie verlangen von ihr, dass sie eins ihrer Lieder spielen soll. Begeistert stimmen sie zu, dass sie die neuen Gitarristin sein soll. So fängt ihr neues Leben auf Tour an. Sie versteht sich Klasse mit den Jungs und fühlt sich bei ihnen wohl. Besonders bei Niall. Doch ihr wurde eingeprägt, dass sie keine Beziehung mit den Sängern haben darf, den Fans wegen. Those are the two distinct groups surrounding One Direction, but Marissa isn't either of those. Marissa is a Direction Hater. She can't stand to listen to their music, and she doesn't understand the hype surrounding the boys. They, afterall to Marissa, are just a phase the girls are going through.
