I awakened. The soft hum of the cars woke me. It wasn't easily living on a highway. Saturday mornings. The worst. Everyone sleeps in, yet I'm here having to wake up at 7 AM on a week-end, listening to people go shopping and go to work. I hated it. So, to relax my stress, I walk. I don't know where I walk to. It's like my mind takes over me, and I follow it. One day, When I walked a half a mile away from my home, I found this forest. It was easy for me to get attached to. I felt whispers in my ears. "Do it. Do it." But what? What do I do? I walked deeper into the forest. It was foggy out today, so it wasn't pleasant. I then turn around, feeling soft, but loud breaths behind my back. I look, and there it was- A russet, ebony canine. I whine, but stay calm. The last thing you want to do, is upset a wolf.

My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.

**#1 in #Darkmoon** A walk in the forest, that's what I need. A stressful day at school and a walk in the forest will relax me. This is what I do all the time. Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods. At first I heard a low growl and thought it was just a dog and an owner. Then it got louder, sounding like it was getting closer. My head jerked in a direction where a twig snapped, causing my heart to start beating faster then normal. It was a bit dark in the forest, considering it was winter. Then that's when I saw it, the red eyes coming from the bushes. My feet were frozen to the spot, I wanted to run but my feet didn't want to move. I felt a hand go on my shoulder, turning my head, I saw a man, probably in his early twenties. ''Run!'' He whispered but loud enough for it to be a shout. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other? Will they enjoy each other's company? Will he be able to tell her the truth? This is my first werewolf story and I know that it won't be to everyone standards but please enjoy. Copyright.
