Nery had always been told that her 'mutation' wasn't something to be proud of. She started to believe it herself and hid her power, but she still had slip ups and many people found out what she was. 
She lost her own family because of her circumstances, they couldn't take the shame of her mutation. 

Many years later, as she has begun to accept herself more, a strange man comes into her life and gives her the chance to be more powerful than she could have ever hoped to be. But what will she do when she realizes what she's gotten herself into?

And finding herself reluctantly in the middle of it all, is Anna Marie, code name Rogue. The fic will be released week by week in chapters till it fulfills a whole episode (usually about 6 or 7 chapters per episode), then continue on into the next episode till it fulfills a season.
