emma spends the last 2 years of her life living in her car until one day her boss at work sends her to a new location in Beacon Hills, California. she meets a boy named Isaac Lahey, she starts to get extremely close to him until she realizes she's not sure if she wants to be more than friends with this boy. soon enough she learns new secrets and everything starts to make sense.
