Behind the Rose Bush

"Cece! Cece! where are you" screamed the little boy.

Girly giggles float from the direction of a rose bush. The boy grins and sneaks closer to the rose bush and then screams "HA! i found you"

"Xav you scared me! how did you find me" said Cece with defeat

"Oh, you were giggling. You were supposed to be quiet remember" Xavier had a smile of triumph. "Don't worry i'll let you hide again so that i will come find you"

"will you always come find me, Xav?" asked Cece shyly.

"yes i'll always come find you and we'll get married when we grow up"

"you promise?" asked Cece

"yes i promise" said Xavier with certainty while sealing the deal with a kiss on the girl's cheek.

Soon after that Cece left and Xavier hasn't been able to find her so that he could keep his promise. But a moment spent behind the rose bush will bring them together again.
