Emilie Elaine Lockley believes in the Pagan practice, Wicca. She believes the Gods are angry with humanity and thus are punishing them by releasing the infected dead from their eternal sleep and infecting others with the virus that causes the infected to die and come back. Emilie believes those who are infected have been deemed unworthy to live in the world that the Gods are creating. Adrian Cameron Briel on the other hand does not believe in a God no more than he believes in Gods. He believes whatever so called "God(s)" have abandoned them and left them to die. Emilie Elaine Lockley as well as her soon to be partner, Adrian Cameron Briel, both on the run for their lives, they run into each others lives and become partners as fate has decided. Have they been abandoned or is the world being cleansed?

The world is ending. The Earth is painted with the blood of humans. Only zombies and monsters roam the lands now. But in the last standing building, 6 teenagers unexpectedly meet each other. Each helping another to survive the dangers of the what the world has become. They bond, they trust but Dream stands out from the others because she is strange and mutant-like. No one could fully trust her, not that it'd matter anyway because Dream trusts no one except herself. So, when they receive a message which sends them to the very top of the hotel. Floor 31. They are forced to fight and kill zombies and monsters just for a chance of safety. But does this 'safety' even exist?
