The Passing of the Past

There is one story per chapter, and these stories are set in different periods of time. They only tell the past, there is not future for these stories. Once the past is written the story is stopped. Each story tells the past through an object, that is significant to the main character. Once the present is collided with the past, the next chapter is written. But thus the story is only told between 1,000 to 2,000 words.
