A 15 year old girl, Alex, is struggling through personal problems that reside in her mind. Her worst enemy is herself. All she wants to do is just make it through high school and then get away from everyone and everything. She's got one friend though, Jess, they've been through everything together. Then one day, Alex meets a boy. His name is Jason and he's just the kind of guy who's out of Alex's league. But for some reason he shows an interest in her, and he's bound and determined to get to know the mystery that is Alex. But once he does, once he finds out her biggest secret, will he run away? Leave Alex to fend for herself with the monsters inside her mind? Or will he stay, and help her? Not all stories have a happy ending... Read to find out how this one will end

Will they be more than friends? The first thing he noticed about her was her eyes full of pain, he knew he had to protect her from the world. But Derek has a dangerous past that keeps catching up with him and soon to Alex. Will he be her reason to fight or will she be the one saving him? This is the story of an abused teenage girl, Maddie. Her need to die has become overwhelming and she is trying to find a way to help herself before she does something she may regret.
