Laurance hasn't been feeling well recently. He's been getting angry, his eyes have been turning red, and he's been pushing everyone away. There's been voices in his head, pushing him, threatening him, forcing him, to follow their orders.
He's been trying to fight these voices and he soon finds himself making bad decisions. He's been yelling and fighting. He's become a threat. Laurance needs to calm down. But everything has become so real to him. He can't stop. Nothing is serene.
Katelyn is afraid. She wants to help. But she's afraid to get too close to him. She finds herself up late at night shaking with fear as she listens to Laurance's screams and hears him throwing tables, plates, and chairs. It's become too much for her. It's become too much for everyone. Being Laurance's roommate, Katelyn knows what's going on. But she doesn't know how to help.
