Nickels. The word could mean a lot. It could mean the metal, that was almost impossible to break. It could mean the coin that was worth a pretty penny. It also could mean the coin, that if you weren't careful with, could slip through your fingers and down the gutter. It could also mean one of the most feared newsies in all of New York. After her mom leaves (Y/N) for her boyfriend, she gets to live with her Aunt Medda in Manhattan. However, with a bridge so fasinating to cross she might not spend her time in 'Hatten for long. Quick Disclaimer: This follows the 1992 Movie plot. However, I do take creative liberty in some aspects of the story. For instance, Spot doesn't have an easily googleable backstory that isn't based on theory so I made one up. Also I decided to fast forward modern medicine and education just a little bit.
