This piece is a simple short story I wrote and never really wanted to add on to. We'll see. ---------------------------------------------------------- In the beginning it was easy, to drift apart from this person who does what I do and the one who doesn't. For what exactly? A life Its much more complicating than it sounds, but as the days go by and the missions get harder. I keep stumbling between the two people I've kept separated for so long. The one who knows what's right and wrong and the one who blurs the lines between. Who will I be tomorrow, the one who commits petty crimes that may kill if not done correctly or the one who still goes to highschool wishing for the perfect GPA and a better body?

I heard you're a player. So let's play a game. Let's sweet talk. Let's play fight. Let's talk 24/7. Let's tell each other good morning and good night every day. Let's take walks together. Let's give each other nicknames. Let's hang out with each others friends. Let's go on dates. Let's talk on the phone all night. Let's hold each other. Let's kiss and hug. And whoever falls in love first? Loses. If you asked anyone to describe Avery Harrison in three words, everyone would say; sarcastic, care-free, and stubborn. Everybody tends to love her, why? Because she's fun and always has something hilarious to say... Unless she doesn't like you of course, then you might call her; snide, sharp and bitchy. If you did the same with Hunter Matthews it would definitely be: hot, gorgeous, beautiful, and nearly everyone would miss the slight detail that he's a player. That one slight detail is the entire reason Avery hates him, he threw girls away like old tissues, why would she? But with one scheming best friend, they are both pushed into playing 'The Game' with a prize for whoever wins. They pretend to date and whoever falls, loses. The question is: who will lose, the girl against love or the player?l
