I watched as the red water horse walked out of the ocean towards me, I was too scared to do anything so I just stood there.
The water horse stopped in front of me I could smell the salt water on its skin and blood an something rotten on its breath.
I didn't run because I would be dead in a second the water horses loved to chase, the red water horse huffed and ran back into the ocean, I wanted to go after it but their are alot of water horses, people are catching them to race some just to sell, they kill anything that moves and people catch and try to tame them but its really dangerous my mother died when I was born my father tried to catch a water horse but ended up dead on the beach. It's only me and my brother, and this guy that always wins the races with his black water horse.

My name is Alexis Daniels but people call me Lex for short and I'm going to tame a water horse.
