It's the best part of the year; everything is green instead of white and barren. I raise my bow slowly; the deer in front of me has no idea. The arrow slides back easily, getting ready to pounce. I aim and let go of the taught string, the arrow flies silently, speeding towards its prey. As if in slow motion, the deer turns to look back for the first time in the five minutes that I had been stalking it, the arrow slams into its side, killing swiftly, finally getting its kill. The deer falls to the ground with a soft, almost inaudible thud. I step forward to collect my arrow just as...
