Jake, is not your average 14 year old. He is intelligent and the best son a mother could have. But a good a family always has its flaws. 

His whole family was threatened by his Dad, and he suddenly has to take care of his two siblings, his own security and his loving mother. As a result, he and his family moved out from the suburbs and relocated themselves in a small town with very few people. 

They moved in a mansion-like house left by their maternal great grandfather to them. But of course, there are no secrets that time does not reveal. Jake is soon bombarded with 'dreams' from the other side of his life. Dark shadows and howling wolves would always creep into Jake's dreams. Until he realized that it was himself whom he saw in his own dreams...
