As a young woman growing up in a world where the Supernatural is known to all and are at odds with the human race, seventeen-year-old Alis McKinney struggles to find her place. Determined to focus on her school work and music, Alis finds herself completely and utterly out of her element, in more ways than one, with the news of a sudden move to the United States.
Far from home, and unsure of everything, Alis has to learn to cope with a family secret that was revealed to her, all while coming to terms with her new life. What she saw in Him
Have you ever liked some guy that is popular, attractive and yet annoying, rude, mean at the same time? I'm sure nearly every girl has. Mikasa your typical girl who likes this really hot guy in her class but doesn't have the confidence to confess to him. Typical, isn't it? But don't think that they'll end up falling in love, that's too cliche. Instead it's going to be a whole twist and turn of events for this girl when she meets a boy called Alex whom she 'befriends.' Alex is the whole opposite of who Mikasa likes. Although, she becomes quite close to him, telling him her crush and him encouraging her and helping her out. Will spending time together bring them closer than just friends? A story that is nothing more closer to reality.
