Life as I know it

Amy is the typical slacker whose ambition in life is to watch her crush Eric skate while she writes in her journal about all the things she hates about her life. With her dad gone and her mom raising her and her brother on a tight budget, Amy learns that expressing your feelings to a busy mom won't help. When she gets in serious trouble with her school for misbehaving again, she is forced to work with her least favorite person at school, the exchange boy Colin. Colin shows her to embrace her talents and she ends up doing what girls do; fall in love.
