When Heather was 13 her whole family died in a car crash. She was away at summer camp and she left it early to come home. She had plenty of family to take her in but no one wanted her. Her father coached basketball at the school he taught at for many years. When one of his old players comes back for the funeral he offers to adopt her. Having no other option Heather accepts the offer but she has to leave everything behind to live with them in Philadelphia. Now she is 16 and in her junior of high school she is a star lacrosse player and many colleges are looking for her to play for them. What does life have in store for her and what will happen when someone new changes everything.

Katelyn has been in and out of the foster system since her mother died when she was young. After her father gets put in jail again, she gets sent to live with the Thomas family. The Thomas's are a very well-off family with four boys. Their house is usually the main hangout for the boys and their friends. Daniel is your typical high school football player; he's got the looks, the muscles, talent, and even the overbearing dad who wants him to go pro.
