Look, I was just a normal orphan, until Kai and Aunt Cara adopted me, so that when Kai can keep me as my legal guardian when he's older. But a bunch of stuff happened and then we were sent to a academy to learn how to control our powers (we also learned that Kai had anger issues, who knew!)
But then more stuff happened, like Kai falling in the pit of love (I hate mushy stuff like that) and we learned Kai had a twin brother. We needed to got him fast, because it turns out, someone was making him literally confused between right and wrong, and he couldn't control his powers. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.

I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you.
