INCAPABLE - BOOK I: THE FALLEN
ONCE my mom told me that we, as humans, only fear what we do not know and that that is the sole reason for violence. We do not know what is to come of something, so in retaliation we immediately fight it off before we can ever find out; before we can ever see if there is any beauty in it. My mom is gone now. Along with any sanity we as a people have left. The year is 2193, and the world is at war. We, humans, are at war with each other only because of what we are and what we can do. We fear what we do not know, thus all we know is ignorance. The government, our democracy, our people and our world have fallen. Nothing good ever comes from being afraid of the abnormalities of others, especially when those abnormalities are amazing. The truth is, none of us are normal. Everyone's definition of normality is different, making it humanly impossible for anyone to ever accomplish the craved label of "normal". Then again, everything we have grown capable of was once described as humanly impossible. By those standards none of us are human. Not even me. A U T H O R ' S N O T E : This book is completed and there will be a second book coming out sometime next year, most likely in the summer. Please excuse any grammar issues or misspellings I have. I hope there are not many, but please consider I do all of the editing myself. Also this is a revised edition of Incapable - Book I: The Fallen. Full of poems that I've written, am writing, will write. Maybe mostly about life and others are deep stuff and more... Some are happy and some are sad/dark. Some poem(s) I wrote about or related to a book/movie.etc. Others I wrote as a story in poem form. *checked my old poems recently and GORE, HORROR, BLOOD ALERT for some of the poems near the beginning!! SO maybe best to read my poems from bottom to the top if you mind the stuff^^^ *I think the more recent poems are quite different from the older ones. You're awake. You're different. You exist, suddenly, as two things. You, the one you know, with the body and name you're familiar with--and this new you, the one exists within you. This you is inhabiting a world within your own. This other consciousness that you see through has begun to sense its timeline, each word a moment. Like the you you're familiar with, this self seems to come into its life mid-story--though the way you experience this life/story differs vastly from what you're used to. Dream Journal and Analysis
I want to start by saying I am no Psychologist, nor do I specialize in any sort of study of the mind. I just happen to have very strange dreams that I prefer to write on paper (ironically) and analyze them myself and how I feel it resembles what I truly think about when I'm not in control. When i'm asleep. each chapter will be a new dream I have experienced and me just ripping it piece by piece to uncover what it is I think about.
