Rosie Michaels, Elizabeth Whitmore and Tessa Davidson have all been kidnapped by a crazy killer on the lose by the name of Jeff Taylor. No one really knows that they were gone. All kidnapped at one party by one man with one motive.
Once they arrived at Jeff's house, everything goes wrong. They are trapped in the attic. The window in the attic was opened and everyday, daisies flew in. Can it be a signal for help? On the walls,the girls find writing. "Basement" with a name. Jade Wellens. "The girl who almost we escapes." They knew her. They all went to the same high school, they all were 15 and they all had birthdays in February. Does that have anything to do with the kidnapping?

This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him.
