Adeline Borns or Addy was never looking for love. At the age of 19 fresh out of high school love was the last thing on her mind until she met into Lloyd Cooper. He was the star quarterback in high school and popular with all the ladies. When he applies for a summer job at the same place she has they begin to click instantly. He shows her there's a different world than just working and going home.
Getting to know one another and having the time of their lives feelings towards each other start to grow immensely. They acknowledge those feelings and begin their relationship. They are on cloud nine and couldn't be happier with what they experiencing. Until it all came crashing down.
