Monstrous

When this world collided with the old world, magic flooded the earth. It awakened long dormant genetics and transformed millions of populations into creatures more-or less- than human, depending on your perspective.

Tempest dropped out of college in the big city to return home to help repair the war zone that her hometown had become.

She didn't think she'd have to play a major role in this chapter in world history. She was content with working on the small scale, helping everyday people survive in this new world.

But that was about to change.
