This is my personal journal of my struggles with my ED and fighting to be thin. My original story (published 2013), which had hundreds of thousands of views, was taken down in 2015 by Wattpad without any warning. I was 14-17 y/o at the time.
I'm now 26, graduated from university and working my dream job. Still one problem. My weight. I was small for a brief moment in time (2022-2024) and thought semaglutide/GLP-1s would bring me to that next level. Oh, how I was sadly mistaken. In 2025 I'm back at my start weight from 2020. 232lbs.
The difference now? I am still in recovery and know that the old-tricks? Die hard. We do it right this time. No binges + "cleaning up". Just a good old and reliable calorie deficit.

I fell into a river. Mid-scene. Mid-line. Mid-emotional breakdown-fictional, mind you. And suddenly, I'm in a hospital, unconscious, and the whole internet thinks I tried to off myself because of a secret breakup. With a co-star. Who I'm not dating. And who absolutely didn't deserve the hate storm blowing up her socials. Seriously? All I wanted was to feel the drama for my new script. Not become the drama. But now I'm the trending tragedy. She's the villain. My company's sweating. And I can't even move a finger to clear it up. So yeah. If I ever wake up, someone's going to get the real story. I haven't lived that world, but I've seen enough of the internet to know what it does to people. If that's something you're sensitive to, please read with care. There's love here-eventually. Maybe quietly. Maybe when it's least expected. It's humour oriented. Still. But no hard feelings if this isn't the story for you. (And no, this isn't an apology. Just a polite heads-up, before the fiction begins.)

It's for everyone. Both those that have already tried recovery and those who are still fighting. I'm here to support. All of you, all of us. Because we all matter. I'm not a professional. Not a psychologist, psychiatrist. Just an ed survivor, writing from lived experience. Skip if you find these triggering - I completely understand. I believe that we all deserve support, and much better than the world that portrays serious diseases as "success stories" or "becoming healthier, prettier." We can do better. In short, this is a series about eating disorders and everything related to them: relapses, beginnings, the process, healing, society's influence, and recovery. I write about things that affect me as a person who has, and still is struggling with this little trap in her mind that says to give up. And that's why I'm creating this. We need something else besides the constant skinny obsession, don't we? Even if you decide not to read any of the chapters - I get it. If you don't agree with my point of view that I share in this project, that's alright. I'm not trying to convince anyone to my mind. I'm trying to let people with invisible, underrated struggles be heard, seen. And you're valid. You're enough. There're more of us. We are no longer silent. We're here for ourselves - that's already a big step toward healing. I'm not going to tell you that recovery is the same for everyone. I'm not going to tell you that people won't comment on your appearance. I'm not going to tell you that you'll always love yourself after recovery. But I am going to, at least try, to convince you that being alive is worth more than looking a certain way. You think feeling your bones is hot? You know what's more? BEING ALIVE. Healing is a process. And it's hard. But as long as you are alive, you always have a chance. I'm not one of the perfectly recovered ones. I see this trap. I've lived in it. I still do. But I'm not afraid of speaking about it - until someone finally hears me.

So yeah, my life went from listening to SEVENTEEN on my busted iPod in Korea to suddenly being orphaned and shipped off like Amazon Prime express to some random mountain city called Hollow Peak. My parents? Dead. Thanks to some soju-drunk loser behind the wheel. My grandma? Too old to deal with my chaos. I woke up bright and early to another dull day. I was so tired of this country I couldn't wait to leave! I looked at my phone "woah!!"
