This is my personal journal of my struggles with my ED and fighting to be thin. My original story (published 2013), which had hundreds of thousands of views, was taken down in 2015 by Wattpad without any warning. I was 14-17 y/o at the time.
I'm now 26, graduated from university and working my dream job. Still one problem. My weight. I was small for a brief moment in time (2022-2024) and thought semaglutide/GLP-1s would bring me to that next level. Oh, how I was sadly mistaken. In 2025 I'm back at my start weight from 2020. 232lbs.
The difference now? I am still in recovery and know that the old-tricks? Die hard. We do it right this time. No binges + "cleaning up". Just a good old and reliable calorie deficit.
Follow along as I try to find my way home. *the genre is "fiction" to avoid my story being taken down again.*

What Lies in Lisa Lake
Returning since my departure in the book I wrote called Dev-Devine Intervention. Driving Across country from Oxnard, California to Middletown, Pennsylvania in my 1995 ford explorer. Coming full circle since leaving in the traumatic fashion. I would return to battle the demons I left a year prior. In fact a lot would change in a course of a year. My return would send shock waves through the community as my ex would transition into a female half assed since my departure. Leaching on his new host of convenience. I would start to rebuild my life by living in my car before getting a supervisor position with Sheetz. Along the way fate and rekindling friendship would bring me back to Lisa Lake. Juggling the heavy demand of my job that would work me 9pm-7:30am most days; the yelling that would affect my sleep. A visit at the Hershey Medical Center would result in a trust fall onto the concrete surface below. Partially unconscious I would get tossed around like a pizza from machine to machine. Head injury that would result in my inability to return to work and subsequently let go of my position. A turn of my luck I decided to refocus my purpose in earning my keep in where I am living. Accommodating the elderly couple and making their lives better in order to restore peace in the household. However, the dark truth is unraveling the scam behind the abuse of a 70 year old woman. How she was trapped in a marriage of convenience for her husband; The abuse that she was suffering from and how people with a hidden agenda took advantage of her with the help of her foolish husband. Understanding how it took my hard work to save her from the hell of her husband's creation. Eliminating the leaches one by one. ~~~~~☆~~~~~ !!!TRIGGER WARNING {Book Description After Trigger Warning}!!! Please be aware this book will discuss some serious topics, ones not always pertaining to Mythicals and Mythical life. These serious "topics" can happen to anybody, even a human or AWTOK member. So far, I've already vented my uncomfortableness around my father, some of my struggles with religion, and feminine issues like periods. Please also be aware that this book will mention some controversial topics in the Mythical community, such as AWTOK, the "Masked Ones", Hunters, Multi-Breeds, and more. I am Alice Voltaire, a Nekomimi previously working under the security devision of the Mythical Protection Alliance (MPA) (around the December entries was when I start having issues, and December eleventh was when I planned out how to quit my job). The company is currently in undercover war with AWTOK/Hunters. This is serious, as many Mythicals have gotten serious injuries or killed, and innocent humans can be endangered. Even humans can find a place here in this journal, possibly choosing to work to become a Mythical (You will see later on in this book as I progress and grow as a person that I am prepared for war, but was hoping it did not happen). I am also a Neko Shapeshifter (meaning I have a full neko form) and later on in this book, I become a Kitsunemimi/unlock a Kitsunemimi form. I practice dream eating magic, but don't tend to use it often (later on, I start learning Confectiokinesis). I have more forms and powers than this, but please see me as a Kitsune. My First Love
Meet Alizah, the ultimate parent-pleaser extraordinaire! She's like the CEO of "Operation Make-Parents-Happy," always two steps ahead of what her parents need. If love was measured in mango pickles, Alizah would have made enough to last the whole neighborhood for years-because nothing makes her happier than knowing her parents are proud (and well-fed). She's not just obedient; she's the gold-standard role model for "I'll do anything for my parents," with a side of humor and a smile that says,"Challenge accepted!" Life was all smooth until one day-BAM! Her parents dropped the biggest bombshell: "We found the perfect boy for you!" Before she could say, 'Not Ready' she was already knee-deep in wedding prep, forced into a marriage she never signed up for. The boy? A soft-spoken, polite guy named Vivaan, who looks like the human version of a greeting card-nice, but completely unnecessary (in her opinion). It's for everyone. Both those that have already tried recovery and those who are still fighting. I'm here to support. All of you, all of us. Because we all matter. I'm not a professional. Not a psychologist, psychiatrist. Just an ed survivor, writing from lived experience. Skip if you find these triggering - I completely understand. I believe that we all deserve support, and much better than the world that portrays serious diseases as "success stories" or "becoming healthier, prettier." We can do better. In short, this is a series about eating disorders and everything related to them: relapses, beginnings, the process, healing, society's influence, and recovery. I write about things that affect me as a person who has, and still is struggling with this little trap in her mind that says to give up. And that's why I'm creating this. We need something else besides the constant skinny obsession, don't we? Even if you decide not to read any of the chapters - I get it. If you don't agree with my point of view that I share in this project, that's alright. I'm not trying to convince anyone to my mind. I'm trying to let people with invisible, underrated struggles be heard, seen. And you're valid. You're enough. There're more of us. We are no longer silent. We're here for ourselves - that's already a big step toward healing. I'm not going to tell you that recovery is the same for everyone. I'm not going to tell you that people won't comment on your appearance. I'm not going to tell you that you'll always love yourself after recovery. But I am going to, at least try, to convince you that being alive is worth more than looking a certain way. You think feeling your bones is hot? You know what's more? BEING ALIVE. Healing is a process. And it's hard. But as long as you are alive, you always have a chance. I'm not one of the perfectly recovered ones. I see this trap. I've lived in it. I still do. But I'm not afraid of speaking about it - until someone finally hears me.
Runaway
I've been on the run for three years. I'm not the first, but I certainly won't be the last. For as long as I can remember, I had been experimented on, drugged to the brink of insanity, and tortured by someone I thought was my family. Boy, was I wrong. This isn't one of those stories where I suddenly get a huge boost of courage and defeat the bad guys then live happily ever after. I don't believe in that stuff anymore. Instead, I was a coward, and ran for my life, for my freedom, because I was too afraid to stand and fight and risk losing control like the monster they had created me to be. I've been too many people, have moved too many times. Now, I wonder if I will finally be able to find a place to call home... I won't allow myself to be captured before I even have a chance at that. Proposal of Submission - Psychic the Saga
Hello, I want to first thank you for taking the time to read my proposal, as I know that there are many others you must work through who have done the same as I; please, trust me when I say that your attention is greatly appreciated. I am messaging you today because I wish to submit a selection of excerpts taken from the series of science fiction/science fantasy stories I have written; called Psychic the Saga. I'm a former United States Marine, and a currently enrolled Aerospace Engineering undergrad at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. Over the course of the last eight years, during which the earlier stated experiences have occurred in my adult life, I have continually written the story I am now presenting for your consideration. Outside of writing as a hobby, and what was needed when submitting assignments, my only writing credential is a published engineering research paper in the European Physical Letters: 'Tailorable Twisting of Biomimetic Scale-Covered Substrate'; of which, my main contributions were that of the experimentation, and the editing/proofreading of the paper. In regards to my submission, the story of Psychic follows our trio and the rest of their friends as they fight for peace and stability within the newly unveiled realm of psychics, once hidden amongst the world for untold millennia. The statistics of Book One are as follows: word count = ~205279, page count = ~396, target audience = young/new adult (16~34 yr. of age). The reasoning behind this age range is two-fold: the concepts, morals and lessons, themes, and situations/ problems faced by the main characters are both relatable and beneficial for this age group; also yes, there is foul language, and yes there are very visceral depictions of violence. Also also (lol), I wish to give a disclaimer in terms of any romance, love, or anything else similar; I intentionally never take the story beyond anything more intimate than a kiss. So there.
