{UPDATES ONCE IN A BLUE MOON}
(also I started this when I was 14 so give me a break please and thanks)
Fëawen Elanessë is an orphan. She lived for over two thousand years in the halls of Mirkwood, under the care of King Thranduil. Until one day, the elven armies marched out to meet the firedrake called Smaug.

- Standing alongside the elk which the king of the Woodland elves sat, she watched as the smoke and flames burned and suffocated the people of Dale, and watched as the grandson of the King Under the mountain pleaded to her king for help as his people fled from their former home. The king did nothing. He turned away from the carnage and his armies turned with him. All except one soldier, who stood away from beside Thranduil's great mount, and yelling for her king's forgiveness, leaped into the burning city. -

This story is no longer traditional in the sense that I'm assuming that if you've made it all the way into my remote corner of the LOTR Fic world, you pretty much have the main plot down pat. (also I'm kind of lazy) Assume everything is as is in canon (*insert Faëwen*) unless it is written by me... Then it is probably different. This will essentially be a series of one-shots.

Thanks for reading,

Queen Naehlara (LOTR, Legolas love story) by ardenswriting
50 parts Complete Mature
In a bed chamber high in the trees of Lothlorien is a young she-elf is sound asleep. "She will wake soon if Mithrandir is to proceed with his quest to Erebor. The darkness will grow, and she will awaken to fight it, like she did long ago." Galadriel says, turning to her husband and taking his hand. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood." Galadriel says, a laugh slipping through her lips as she remembers watching Naehlara fight in the wars long ago. How she'd argue with anyone that stood in her way, nearly taking the head off the captain of the guard when he would not head her warning of the armies coming from Morgoth. ✨NOT A HOBBIT FANFIC IT IS SET DURING LORD OF THE RINGS✨ A/N I do not own any character other than Naehlara and maybe more if I choose to add more. But probably just Naehlara. I'm newer to the fandom so please let me know if i got any facts wrong. I hope you enjoy the story Also maybe be slow updates due to work but I hope to put out consistently!
The Other Ranger [ Lord Of The Rings x Silmarillion ] by Silmarilz1701
111 parts Complete
#1 in Tolkien, #1 in Silmarillion, #1 in Lord of the Rings, #1 in Elrohir, #1 in Dunedain First in LotR series, Fëanoriel Chronicles. Written in 2012. Awaiting rewrite. *** Miril has been raised by Halbarad of the dúnedain after her forebearers came from Arnor, and before that Numenor, and even before that from Beleriand. She and her family are destined for things she doesn't quite comprehend yet. Though a seasoned ranger already, having faced the trials of the North for nearly 40 years, things hardly get easier with age. But before she can step into her own story, she journeys with her best friends, the twin sons of Elrond, running errands leading up to the War of the Ring. Her love of battle and craving for revenge for a death in her past leads to a discovery coming to light that some thought should've been kept hidden. They also might point to the truth of her parentage. When she starts having strange dreams about a swan ship, an oathbreaker, and a shining jewel, things just get crazier. Elrohir/OC *** Internal timeline will stretch from beginning of Lord of the Rings into the Fourth Age post War of the Ring with flashbacks. Needs a rewrite and general editing since it's 6+ years old, but I still like the premise and it spawned many sequels so... Please bear that in mind. *** FOR LORE: -BOOK CANON, not movies -Some liberties taken with the Ban of the Valar. -Technically this is Ninth Walker, not Tenth Walker (a more canon compliant version).

❝ I am Smaug Titan of the skies You will fear me Cower as my wings eclipse the sun Sovereign of fire Down on your knees You must know you can't run I am Smaug ❞ - Karliene Behold, a creature of legendary stature, worthy of the epic tales of Middle-earth. Its power is so formidable that even the Dark Lord quakes in fear. It unleashes a fiery apocalypse upon the world, leaving destruction in its wake, all in pursuit of a singular goal: the treasure hidden within the mountain. The city of men means nothing to this majestic beast, for it craves only the wealth concealed within the stone halls. Its insatiable greed drives it onward. The dwarves, driven from their mountain kingdom and ancestral home by the inferno that consumed their land, flee in desperation. Yet, there exists a glimmer of hope, not in an inanimate object, but in a living being. "Search high within the mountain's shadows, where ice and darkness reign supreme, and you shall encounter her. Deep within the caverns of Gollum, she slumbers, awaiting discovery. Seek the gleaming sapphire eye, for it holds the key to salvation. Though she possesses a scaly exterior, within beats a heart of purest gold. She will defy her own kind to bring about good. She is the jewel of the beast, the savior you seek. The Night lives on," as foretold in the prophecy of the Winged Night." - 𝘈 𝘏𝘰𝘣𝘣𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘯𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘣𝘰𝘰𝘬 (to clarify, I'm going to give Tatsuo a second name. StarDust. I hope you like it.)

"I have many names, oh great dragon. I am Lithir, the many faced, though one face I have only, and I am Esta, the first, yet many came before me, I am the Fierce, the Swift, the Free, I am a wanderer, veiled, yet a princess at court, and I am mortal and immortal both." "And dwarf-friend, as well, for I smell their scent upon you. Tell me, many-named, have you come to slay me?", Smaug growled denunciatorily [...]. She gripped the handle of her dagger while spinning around with wide eyes, as if she was afraid and found herself face to face with Smaug and with a swift movement she aimed for the eyes to incapacitate him, for the blade was not long enough to go deep. And Smaug reared and bled and in his anger spit fire at his attacker and Estateillio quickly jumped aside and drew her bow. The arrow would have hit his other eye had he not moved so much, but when she extended her hand, his head was jerked around as the dagger [...] was yanked from injured flesh and returned to its master's hand. [《◇》] How do you live, when you have lost so many? How do you live, when the scars never cease to hurt? Which path do you take, when you seek for vengeance? What sacrifices are you willing to make? [《◇》] Disclaimer: The Hobbit, the Lord of the Rings and all other works about middle earth belong to Tolkien.
