An 11 year-old girl, part of an elite group of assassins called the Phantom Troupe, decides to take a legendary exam, the Hunters Exam.
 
During the many phases of the exam, she will discover the meaning of friendship, all while hiding her true self. 

The secrets she holds are a burden, but they also define who she is. Will hiding them keep those she holds dear safe, or will they tear her apart?

Evil lurks in the dark, and the shadow of her past hunts her down in the form of her father. 

Family is important, but so are friends, especially if they teach you something you never thought you could learn.
