Juno Ray Kern always associated her name and foreign black locks with the ugly duckling. Surrounded by blue-eyed blonde babes, she felt anything but normal, especially in her pale Northeastern family.

However, all her questions are answered when her mother hands her a ripped up love letter written eighteen years ago by Juno's birth mother. She isn't pleased with the words that lie inside the envelope.

Juno has a choice that will lead her throughout the entirety of her senior year: discover where and who she truly comes from, or remain in place with her stunning sister, mother, and father where everything is safe and familiar.
