Madeline lives her life as a princess. She has everything she could ever want at her disposal, or so she thinks. Days before her parents's throw a grand ball, Madeline finds out she is destined to be married to Duke Quinten of Waterstone. At only sixteen, Madeline is horrified. However, for the love of her kingdom she decides to put on a brave face, until she finds out her betrothed is a complete jerk. With her parents and the whole kingdom in her face about the marriage, Madeline runs away. Soon she meets another runaway and the two stay hidden from the world, both hiding a thing or two from each other and maybe even themselves.
