Nao (Naomi) Mayer has a few problems. No friends and a father which dislikes her and wishes she were a he. She does all she can to please him, even dressing and acting like a boy until she really wants be one. Thanks to a keltic gate, she is now in the world of ninja. Worse still she can't read their language and doesn't know their lifestile. At first she wants to go back home, but with no way back she only has one choice. Do in Rome as the Romans do. And hopefully nobody discovers her true gender.
