No matter how I tried to disappear amongst the relentlessly happy people of the Reserve, they weren't fooled. And neither was He.

This is another short story that I wrote a few years ago for school. It's very teen angsty but I still like it a lot. It was inspired by Jenny Lewis' song 'Pretty Bird' which you can watch at the top of the story.
