Two unlikely people find themselves incredibly curious about what the other is thinking about.

"Jeez. Lighten up" I tell him "I know what you were thinking about in class" I smirk

He raises a quizzical brow.

"But here's a little twist to make things a little more fun. If I can guess, whatever the hell was going on in that noggin of yours, you give me a dollar."

"Aren't you the one who's supposed to be paying for my thoughts?" He says with a smug look on his face.

Honey your thoughts aren't as important as you think.

"Ugh, you're so full of yourself. And no, you'll pay me. Because technically, you're not giving away anything." I smirk

He looks annoyed now. Very annoyed.

"You were thinking about how you're going to defeat the opposing soccer team in this Saturday's opening game" I laugh at him again.

Giggles please leave me alone.

He reaches into his back pocket, takes out his wallet, fishes out a dollar and hands it to me. He grabs his jacket, opens the door, closes it, and then leaves. Doing all that without the slightest hint of a smile.
