Recherché

Recherchés are a species that work, think and look like humans. But there's one thing that they possess that humans don't: superpowers. Each Recherché is born with only 1 superpower that lasts them a lifetime, but they will have to practice and hone their skills before having the ability to use their powers to the fullest potential.

And no, unfortunately (or fortunately), Recherchés are not immortal. They too, age like humans, but they heal at supernatural speeds. For centuries, Recherchés have coexisted with humans peacefully - no one knew of their identity, except that Recherchés do exist in the world.

In the winter of 2008, it was discovered that something was amiss with Kyungsoo. Born in 1993, he was growing up well with his in-born superpower of "Earth" till he turned 15, he started to have nightmares that manifested into natural disasters that would concurrently occur somewhere in South Korea, where they lived. The nightmares happened on the 12th of every month starting on his 15th birthday like clockwork, with each disaster more violent than the last.

What's worse, along with each disaster, Kyungsoo gains a new superpower on top of his in-born power every month.

However, these nightmares take an unprecedented turn with the arrival of the new superpower "Teleportation", throwing them into disarray all over again. Kyungsoo sees a human in his nightmares for the first time. Can they stop all these before it's too late?
