Not that I cared or anything.
Until a new Super came along and threw that balance off kilter. And rescued me from the Evil Doctor O, one of the worst Supervillians in the state.

Chaos In The Flesh
Junior year is beginning, and like the same thing every year, Jonathan and Jordan Kent want nothing more than to play football, party, and make some new friends. The past two years had been full of difficulties and dilemmas, but as a new semester rolls around, the winds of change may bring exactly that. But what blows into Smallville isn't exactly what the boys hoped for. Not only does a new hero make a mark in the town, but several new kids find their ways into the town's population. Smallville is nice, no doubt about that...but why now? What is the sudden appeal? As the year progresses, Jonathan begins to develop new powers that are opposite of his brother's and starts to break a wall of peace, Jordan's life as Superboy gets a whole lot more straining, Superman finds that there are some things even he cannot beat, Lois's control over her world begins to crumble, the world itself threatens to explode, others worlds and heroes collide...it's a mess. Thank goodness for friends. And teammates. And pizza. Accepting to be a subject for a 'minor science experiment' for a large amount of money is a grave mistake for the Durand family. Now Cecil Durand is coping with unnatural abilities and the burden of trying to hide the fact that she's a complete freak of science in the town of Grimsby. But without the hindrance of money problems, the Durands move to big city Toronto in hopes of a better life-and the lesser chance of someone finding out Cecil's supernatural callings. They never expected things to get worse as Cecil is targeted by a villainous character and his organization for her unnatural skills. They never guessed that she would become the apple's eye of said villain that would do anything to have her-even destroy the one boy she cares about who doesn't think she's a freak with her supernatural abilities. Emerson Rogers liked to think of himself as an ordinary teenager. After all, he had no reason to believe otherwise. He went to an upstanding private school with the rest of his friends, was a straight-A student, had no disciplinary issues, and was well-liked according to his classmates and teachers. If anyone were to take a glance at him, they would assume that he was just another carefree rich kid with no problems in his life to worry about. Unless you consider the fact that his evening plans included putting on a blue super suit and speeding through the streets as a crime-fighting superhero. Okay, so maybe his life wasn't as ordinary and carefree as he liked to portray it. With Emerson starting his senior year of high school, things have started to become a bit more tricky than he would've preferred. Defending Jefferson City and maintaining a normal school life as a cover can be hard, but throw in his best friend getting closer to the truth about his alter-ego's identity and a mysterious villain working from the shadows who always seems to be two steps ahead, living a double life is going to be his biggest challenge yet. Especially when new villains start crawling out of the woodwork, thirsty for a fight, and his old villains return stronger, angrier, and looking to settle a score. As Emerson starts to uncover the truth behind where all these villains are coming from, he finds that not everything is what it seems on the surface. And that he and this mysterious villain have a stronger connection than he originally thought.

One can read her mind, another can in one second be standing right in front of you and the next be on the other side of the country. It makes them special. Emma finds herself caught up in the world for a second before she realizes that coming to it might have been a mistake. She gets caught between life and death, yes or no, and the danger that this strange new world's war has to offer.
