Until a new Super came along and threw that balance off kilter. And rescued me from the Evil Doctor O, one of the worst Supervillians in the state.

Hope Lauren has read her share of comics. She's seen supers around her city and even been saved by some on occasion. And she always hoped that she'd be able to join them. With Jack, her grizzled older mentor with secrets that could shake the world, and Pantheon, a new team of heroes, Hope will have to fight against monumental odds to save Oleander City. In a world of action, comedy, tragedy, and adventure, there's plenty for a new hero to do. *Readers can expect a mostly adventure-themed superhero journey that will include a slice of life, action, and hopefully exciting world-building. It will also contain a slow-burn GL/Yuri plotline, which I'll eventually get to when I feel like it, I guess. This will be a very long story with many arcs* New chapter every Monday and Friday.

The wind blows past my head, I close my eyes and take a deep breath of the cool air. Looking down I can see the city and all the lights that let me know I'm not alone in the world. Emma Feara was a completely normal girl, living at home with her dad, seventeen years old, a whole future ahead of her. Then she falls down a set of stairs. She finds herself in an institute with hundreds of kids that are just like her. Unordinary. Unusual, not normal, out of place in society. Everyone in the institute has something about them that makes them these things. They all have a Flair. One can read her mind, another can in one second be standing right in front of you and the next be on the other side of the country. It makes them special. Emma finds herself caught up in the world for a second before she realizes that coming to it might have been a mistake. She gets caught between life and death, yes or no, and the danger that this strange new world's war has to offer. The biggest life altering choices, for her and the rest of the world, are on her shoulders. Will she hide away and leave it to the others, or seek out the answer and the conclusion to this war?Complete

His brother is a geek. He is a geek, too. However, opposites don't attract. Because as much as she would like to believe that she is a complete and total badass, Carly Caine is very much a geek herself. Except for the superpower part. That's pretty badass. So maybe opposites don't attract between people, but the magnetic cling of contrasting characteristics certainly aids the transformation between mild-mannered Carly to silver-edged Vertigo. Alter egos make Carly's life complicated. Unrequited love towards a not-so-super-Superman is never fun. But the growing possibility of apocalypse? The perfect timing (In Editing)
I'm not like wonder woman, supergirl or catwoman. The only similarity we share is that we all have an extraordinary ability and are females. Many people would say having superpowers was a gift from god and the best thing that could ever happen to you. But not for me, being able to freeze time was more of a burden, because I couldn't control it and it had the worst timing to appear. I also didn't think about being a superhero and rescuing the world from the bad. The only thing I want is to be left alone and get over with my last year of high school.
