In the middle of the night I woke up freezing cold.
I patted beside me in search of Wild's body heat. Once I found it I scooted closer to him. However, this time he provided me with more than enough heat that I slept comfortably on top of him.
I know. How evil am I if I sleep on top of my little dog? But you got to remember, I was ninety nine percent asleep during this time, I didn't know what I was doing, I just knew I had found something very warm and comfortable to sleep on.
In the morning, I was laying on top of something. I nuzzled my head in it. I sleepily opened my eyes to be met with a bare, muscly chest instead of the black and white fur of my puppy. I looked up to see a guy asleep on my bed.
What the heck?!

I wanted to tell him that he had completely beguiled me; that he was my entire world. I wanted to tell him that I love him more than anything I had ever known. I wanted to run to him, to hug him. I wanted him to wrap his arms around me and never let me go. I wanted to never leave him. I wanted to rule by his side, as his Luna. Instead, I just turned my back in order to not let anyone see my tears. I walked away from the love of my life, for what? For fate? For destiny? Or for some foolish trick that I was walking myself into? No matter the reason, I walked away from him with tears in my eyes and sorrow in my heart. I never wanted to walk away again.
