Glory | Robert x Cabot

{Based on the 1989 movie, Glory (a true story)}.
It's 1862, the American civil war waging on, weary and never ending. The body count begins to rise. In the battle of Antietam, Captain Robert Gould Shaw, is placed into his first major battle. He is soon wounded and sent home to recover. The memories of the gun shatter, canon booms, and the bodies of his men haunts him, following his head wherever he goes. Robert is soon chosen to lead one of the first African American regiments, the 54th Massachusetts voluntary infantry, which then promotes him to Colonel. Robert's tides change as he asks his best friend Major Cabot Forbes to a accompany him as his second in command. But as Robert's mind changes, his feelings grow larger in his heart for a his childhood friend, Cabot, but, does Major Cabot Forbes feel the same? Will they both be able to whip the African American soldiers into shape? Will they survive the violent war ahead?
