Hope Peters is one of the very few human beings left on Earth- at least what's left of it. Hope herself discovers that she is a Unique, someone who has a special ability and is different then regular humans. But as Hope slowly realizes what her Unique is, she becomes horrified realizing that she is one of the only people in the whole world with this rare gift- the Infinite Unique- and that some people are willing to kill her for it.
