Lucinda Draco has been different from the rest of her community ever since she was found at twelve years old, washed up by the waves with no recollection of her earlier life but her name and birth date. With strange tattoos running up her arms and back, scars covering every inch of her skin and two different coloured eyes, she sure isn't what they call perfect. And in her world, perfection is everything.

In the year of 2090, the Perfectionists arrived and brought the Perfectation. It split our world into categories based on appearances; you're either Old, Flawless, Sufficient or Defective. To keep the world as 'perfect' as it has become, citizens must undergo Tunings to their brains that heighten their Perfection. Everything is flawlessly organized and happens as it is supposed to, and everyone remains oblivious to the fact that their whole world is a lie. But what happens when someone sees through the facade put up by the Perfectionists?

What happens when a Defective wants to change the world?

Well, let me tell you this: it won't be pretty.
