The day was anything but normal for Princess Adira. When her mother reveals the ancient tradition of their kingdom, Adira's emotions spiral, pushing her toward a destiny she cannot escape. Now, she embarks on a perilous journey to the fourth continent-an uncharted land full of mysteries, dangers, and dark secrets. She isn't alone. With her are two loyal best friends, but the trio soon finds themselves caught up in a web of intrigue. Nine strangers, divided into secretive groups, are also heading to the continent, each with their own hidden motives. But as tensions rise, two individuals bring chaos that threatens to tear apart the fragile alliances. Who can Adira trust in a world where loyalty is uncertain, and even the most familiar faces might hide dark secrets? In this world, magic is alive-but not in the ways you might expect. There are no werewolves or vampires here, but angels, mermaids, and half-human creatures walk among them. As Adira's journey unfolds, she will face not only external threats but also the turmoil within herself. The powers at play are strong, and so are the emotions-will she be able to balance it all, or will she succumb to the path her closest one chose years ago? -ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ 𝐂𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐬: Design by @yourFEATHERS | Background image from Pinterest I hope you enjoy this story! Niccola is a demi-queen undercover in enemy territory. Her little sister went missing seven moons ago, but one lead remains: a picture of a woman's face, drawn by a diviner shortly after the disappearance. Tracking her down has led Niccola to Calis, the realm next door whose border with her own remains closed for a reason. There, the trail goes cold. Until, that is, Niccola runs into a man in the marketplace who bears a family resemblance to the woman she seeks. His name is Isaiah, crown prince of Calis, and he's investigating disappearances, too. They join forces, faking courtship to sneak Niccola into the palace and get Isaiah's wedding-minded mother off his back. It doesn't take long to suspect that a common threat might underpin both their realms' problems. And as Niccola begins to develop real feelings for Isaiah, she's faced with an impossible choice: reveal her secrets and risk breaking his trust, or leave him in order to chase down the woman who stole her sister... a woman whose forbidden magic comes with a cost that could bring both realms to ruin. ❖❖❖ Complete and fully edited. Tales of the Vangen: The Black Ministry's Betrayal (Book 1)

70 parts Complete

[Completed] The Royal Guard of the Empire has faithfully served Byzantia for nearly three centuries now. Hand picked from foreign lands, these guardsmen hold no political ties, carry no agendas, and bare no creeds except to those who sit upon the Onyx Throne. They are vanguards, protectors, loyalists. They are Vangen. Change has come to the Empire. An Empress sits upon the throne now, destroying any who would rebel against her with both fire and iron. To the east, her loyal Vangen work to quash the newest rebellion, until a letter arrives one day, marked with the Empresses seal. The contents within bare only dread and disturbance for the Guardsmen. The Black Ministry, the former Emperor's cabal of Sorcerers, have turned against the Empress. The Vangen's return is bittersweet. The city they once called home is now a battlefield, every street a choke-point. Every home a possible nesting ground for rebels. The Royal Guard will have to fight tooth and nail to put down the Ministry and protect the Empress, but the deeper they go, the harder the lines begin to blur. In a world where good and evil does not exist, where then does a man's loyalty lie? (Comments and Feedback are always appreciated)
