I saw this picture reposted by a friend yesterday and it blew me away...it says so much and sends a powerful message.
Ladies, be that safe harbour where your husbands can go to and find refuge during the worst battles of their lives. Be their strongest encouragers, strongest advocates and greatest fans. Let them know that with you they are safe and no matter how many battle wounds they may have, to you they remain king and champion.
A man who knows he is all that and more in his wife's eyes will move heaven and earth for his queen! Do not be the ones who push the daggers further in and twist them. Do not attack and break your men. Always uphold and esteem them highly.

There are a lot of things you don't really think about until they happen to you. Take rape, for instance. I always thought, "That won't happen to me. I have a boyfriend. I trust him. He would never take advantage of me like that..." I couldn't have been more wrong. Love in this day and age is often confused for manipulation and abuse. The warning signs are here.
