Lumornel has always been a quiet girl, content with her nose stuck in a book or writing in her journal. She'd rather sit in a tree and read than leave the forests of her home. But she then learns that not all is as it seems. An unexpected quest is thrust upon her. Her shyness must be swept aside and she must stand strong as the War of the Rings rages on.

And what happens when Lumornel stops an Uruk-Hai from shooting Boromir on Amon Hen and the Ring is taken from Frodo?

In these times of troubles, she finds unexpected love in a certain woodland prince.

She faces terrifying enemies, unexpected consequences, and surprising revelations, such as her part in an ancient prophecy. And one constant remains; the sorrow she feels for Arda.

Most importantly, she finds herself in the middle of it all because of one thing: she bears a power that no one has been known to have. Because of this power, she is forced into the Fellowship of the Ring: the tenth member.
