At age fifteen Keyra has a bad life. She lives in foster care and always seems to switch homes, she’s a partier and a user. Her education is going down the drain, and she seems to live in detention. Her current foster parents don’t approve, but they aren’t home enough to do anything about it. Zach her boyfriend is abusive, and influences her in all the wrong ways, but she doesn’t do anything because she thinks she’s in love. She doesn’t have many friends, basically all she actually has is music. One day she meets a boy who changes her life. Finally for once in her life, she has someone she can trust a best friend. It was like God finally wanted to add a little sun to her dark world. But what happens when just as soon as this boy came in he leaves? Keyra starts to feel lost and hopeless and tries everything she can to die. But then a miracle happens, her friend comes back. Just not like she thought he would...
