"I have a proposition for you"
"Whatever it is, I don't want to know." I tell him.
"I bet I can get Liam to fall for you by the end of the year. I can even have him asking you to prom." He states, confidently.
"Hayden, that's not a proposition, that's a bet."
"Ooo, even better, a bet." He says, rubbing his hands together and laughing evilly. I'm kind of scared of what's coming next. "If I win, and Liam Henderson asks you to prom, then you owe me."
"Owe you, owe you what? That doesn't even make sense."
"Do we have a deal?" He asks, holding out his hand. Besides owing him something, I really have nothing to lose.
I shake his hand and look into his green eyes that seem to sparkle in the dark, "Deal."
At the moment, I'm standing in my underwear, trapped in my crush's basement. You may be wondering how I got myself into this situation. Well, I didn't. I blame one person. I blame him. I blame the bet.
