Once a year, many young witches and wizards are chosen from each town to enter the Heartwell Academy for the Magically Gifted. Sadly, the towns are separated by a  wall. The inner cities are rich and in the middle lives the royal family. The outer cities are poor and spread through the land. The richer the city the more children who get to go to the academy. Arabella Airling comes from the poorest town, Ferhen, where only one boy and one girl is chosen. Join Arabella as she goes through her first year at the academy, where she experiences love, meets royalty, makes friends and gains enemies.

This will be the first book in a four part series.
