I made it more personal by adding character stand-ins for my friends and acquaintances, named after fruits or vegetables. Furthermore, this was to give friends who are represented through these stand-ins an opportunity to properly operate their character within the narrative. That never happened, except with that friend who started the original document to me, to a small extent. Chaos and Cringe was originally inspired by cringey/edgy horror fanfictions, such as Hitler.exe, My Immortal, and Voice Box. This story is therefore a fanfiction of fanfictions. Note: I do not hold the anti-social views implied through the language of Chaos and Cringe, including, but not limited to: homophobia, ableism, and racism. "Nice cock."
