Isabella is a member of the snake-kingdom (the original vamps) her father's kIngdom is taken over by a clan of vampire killers called the hunters. Before her father, the ex Dominion ( king of vampires) died he told her to find a man that the humans called dracula and sit him on the seat of judgement. This man is the true heir to the vampire throne. What her father didn't tell her was that she had to fight a whole clan of hunters and her own fellow snake-men for this coveted seat.
Oh and another thing.....she's supposed to marry this Dracula guy and make an heir to follow in his footsteps. That means they'd have to.....

I'd say it is more on the forceful side, especially with the vampire-setting, and the vampire may act questionable and egocentric. Also, depression and I'd say a suicidal tendency do come up (briefly) because of these thoughtless interactions. And, uh, "Stockholm Syndrome" was mentioned, but also in the context of an overall enjoyable read. - Finished story. There are two sequels.
