The main character's appearance and talent is actually based around my OC, but personality shifted more towards the reader.
Before you start reading: this will probably not contain any NSFW scenes, maybe some suggestive ones. But mostly just a bittersweet slice of life.
I tried not to rush the story, but I'm not sure how that worked out. Also, I like the idea of "Nagito's hair was originally the color that he has towards the end of his hair, not completely white" so I used that headcanon for this story. Enjoy!

Nagito Komaeda is a mute boy. He's been mute his entire life, and fins himself to dream of what it would be like to speak, and being envious of those who do speak. Without any parents or legal guardians to adopt him or such, he lives at a hospital near his school. There, he has a few friends. Although, each day, a butterfly tends to come and visit his hospital bedroom window, an odd occurrence, to put it in simplest terms. Nagito Komaeda and Hajime Hinata had met, only when they were the young age of five. They were friends for about five years, Hinata was the only friend Komaeda was lucky enough to have back then. But Hinata had to move away once they were around eleven, leaving Komaeda and himself in a deep depression. Hajime accidentally forgets about the other, until they coincidentally meet at Hope's Peak. Hinata still doesn't quite remember the other, but, he feels as though the other is much too familiar, while Nagito remembers him clearly and tries to help Hajime remember.
