The main character's appearance and talent is actually based around my OC, but personality shifted more towards the reader.
Before you start reading: this will probably not contain any NSFW scenes, maybe some suggestive ones. But mostly just a bittersweet slice of life.
I tried not to rush the story, but I'm not sure how that worked out. Also, I like the idea of "Nagito's hair was originally the color that he has towards the end of his hair, not completely white" so I used that headcanon for this story. Enjoy!

Nagito Komaeda is a mute boy. He's been mute his entire life, and fins himself to dream of what it would be like to speak, and being envious of those who do speak. Without any parents or legal guardians to adopt him or such, he lives at a hospital near his school. There, he has a few friends. Although, each day, a butterfly tends to come and visit his hospital bedroom window, an odd occurrence, to put it in simplest terms. Alongside this, Hajime Hinata is what people would call a normal boy. His life usually was nothing to write home about, and he was at least able to realize that. He hardly had any friends, the count only being two, and he usually felt a longing. A longing for a more unique and special life, something that would contrast from the rest of it all. As if to grant his simple wish, a butterfly is usual to turn up by his own bedroom window every day, checking up on him like some worried mother. Hinata still doesn't quite remember the other, but, he feels as though the other is much too familiar, while Nagito remembers him clearly and tries to help Hajime remember.
