Blake's life as a boring internet technician changes drastically when the world is thrown into chaos and everyone he knows becomes a flesh-eating monster. He establishes a sanctuary for survivors and soon the undead aren't a threat to him. On the other hand, the Legionnaires would love his head on their wall.
Of the survivors he harbors, he finds a young, meek and frail girl to be his favourite. She's everything he wanted, apart from his suspicion of her being a murderous arsonist that the Legionnaires sent to kill him.
