In the Land of the Gem, every person carries a magical Crystal that has been with them since birth. There are many Crystals, each with all sorts of incredible abilities. The more power a Crystal gains, the darker its color becomes. Only the bearer of the most powerful Crystal of each generation receives the title of the Chosen One, acting as both the protector and ruler of the kingdom.
Geal McLean, an energetic and lively girl, dreams of achieving that title. But there's a problem: her Crystal has a rare condition that prevents it from gaining power, remaining permanently white-the weakest color of all. Unable to grow stronger through conventional means, Geal has found her own path to victory-one that allows her to win battles without relying on her Crystal: is the fine art of cheating!
Accompanied by Uruta, her loyal friend and pet, Geal embarks on a journey to overcome the harsh Chosen One's Trials and earn the right to fight for the throne. However, things will soon become far more complicated than she ever expected.
